HOPE EV Public Reading of Scripture

From the time of Israel coming out of slavery, to the early church and apostles, to countless historical traditions across the globe, God’s people have found themselves immersed within God’s story through the reading and listening of God’s word.

Here within our local church community, we want to take up this practice ourselves! Starting April 12th , we’ll be gathering for a virtual public reading of Scripture, that takes place at 8:00AM, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. As we listen and hear the narrative of Scripture we’ll experience the generosity of God to meet us, sometimes through very simple things.

Each week, we’ll read a few chapters of the Bible together, and listen to one another to see what we’ve heard. It won’t be like a conventional bible study where we have one key takeaway but instead a communal immersion in God’s word.
